Keith is off
Keith left early this morning for his tour in Afghanistan. It has been a long time coming since he has been home for almost 2 years since this last tour. Anyhow, Jadyn started breaking down early. Though it is hard to watch, this is the story of a military child
And this is pretty tame to how it went the morning when we were actually saying goodby and chasing the buses down the street waving. Bridger was sobbing too and said he has never felt so bad in his whole life. It is truly heartbreaking.
We were home by sun up and I promptly put the kids to bed. They will feel better with a little bit of sleep. A friend took some great pics for us...of course, I will post them as soon as I get them.

He is my hero.
This sounds so very hard, and it not even the first time for the kids to see their Dad off. We are sooo proud of him and All that he (& his unit) dose for each of us! He make me proud and we all will be thinking of him and remembering them in our prayers!
