Coupon Savings this week

This week I have slacked but I had to go do my grocery shopping last night which took way too long. We didn't get home until 9:30. I was a bit frustrated because the ads were different from what was actually on sale at the stores so I didn't really stick to my list. Between Walmart and HEB I bought a total of $127.90 worth of groceries but I paid out of pocket $99.43-- so only a savings of $28.47 or 22%!!
That is not very good. Then to make it worse, I went through a drive-thru last night to feed the kids because I can't cook in a messy house and spent $18 of my savings!! Go figure, right?

So I think I am going to cancel my membership to the Grocery Game because I have found that I can get all the same information for free on other blogs that devote themselves to where all the savings are. And the stores are holding out on big sales this week, so I am thinking they are saving them for the Thanksgiving holiday. I am sure there will be huge savings in the weeks to come.
