Floors Day 2

Well these guys don't like to work much. I think they may have put in 4 1/2 hours today which is fine because I am not paying them by the hour-- I just hate to live in a mess for any longer than I have too. It makes it hard to concentrate on doing the things I need to. I tried to stay in my office for most of the day and have laser focus on work. I managed to get a lot done, but my house was far from quiet with sawing and hammering going on in the echo chamber that my living room now is. And I can't walk across my floors yet so I am having to go out onto my porch, walk around the side of the house and into the front door...things like that. I am starting to freak out about not being able to come into my bedroom when they start in here. The end of this week won't come soon enough.

With that being said, the floors are soooo pretty.

The boxes are full of the hardwood and they are being used as weights on the floor.

That couch is like 18 inches from the TV right now because that is the only little strip we are allowed to walk on. Its like playing frogger in your house!
