I'm back and ....
I didn't miss this blog at all. I usually do think about it quite a bit when I go away for a while, but didn't do much of that this time around. It wasn't like I was incredibly busy, I just have other things on my mind! I finally got a flow of inspiration concerning some projects I wanted to work on and when that happens, I am estatic. I was in a lull for a while.
Anyhow, Keith has taken off once again and we have about 4 months (God willing) until he returns home again. The visit was great but we are both eager to just get this over with, so left on Tuesday without much mayhem. He set up goals for the kids on his last night of things he would like to see changed. Bridger is super motivated and has been working super hard. Jadyn....not so much. The payoff for accomplishing them is huge, so we will see what happens.
I haven't worked too much in the last 2 weeks but right before Keith got home I had a chance to work on a client's home. It was great fun and I loved her paint colors so much I came home and repainted a few walls in my house to match. It was awesome!
I made this little number for her living room and its the chocolate brown that I copied. It looks awesome.
She still needs to hang curtains so we put the saying pretty high up on her wall. It is done in the cream and gold. Super Cute!
We also put up a monogram above her daughter's bed.
There was talk of putting an empty frame around it because that was the size I made it so it would fit---but I know when I left the final decision hadn't been made yet. Either way, it was going to be cute.
Then this number was made for her son's room. The canvas that was taken out of the frame was painted green and then I attached the vinyl directly onto it-- so when they move it can go with them. It is just as easy to attach to canvas as it is to the wall.
I was trying to dress up my bathroom with vinyl before Keith got home and I made this damask pattern to put on the shower door. It is almost impossible to get a good picture with my lame camera, but I attempted. I think it looks cool.
And the best part....these flowers Keith got for me at Sam's Club!! haha
They were super pretty and just about my favorite color when it comes to roses
