Overwhelmed
It was bound to happen! I have spent the last 2 months with not much of anything to do besides move into my house and even though it is far from perfect yet it know has to go on the back burner. I have been slammed with all the volunteer duties of being an Army Commanders Wife and just being a mom. There is sooooo much to do and get done that sometimes I just sit here and wonder where to even start.
To Do List
Take the 40-hour food handlers class so I can conduct food fundraisers to raise money for the Family Readiness Group (FRG). This has to be done right away because everything we are doing I am paying for and I hate to be nickel and dimed to death.
Take the FRG Leader class-- but before I can do that my kids have to get signed up for the child care on post- and before I can do that I have to get their medical records from Fort Campbell.
Take the Point of Contact class-- I signed up for the evening class on the 9th
Call my list of contacts in Keith's unit and make food assignments for the Back To School FRG event on the 13th
Buy a gift for a soldier whose wife is giving birth today-- go the hospital tomorrow
Delegate people to make dinner to drop off at their house
Find the email in Keith's account for the baby Army Orders (they are so cute)- print them and get Keith to sign them
Find resources for a family whose home burned to the ground and they lost everything including the dog
Get the artwork and motto done for the keith's unit so we can start a fundraiser with shirts and mugs and rally troop pride
Make a list for Keith of everything I need from the unit for the Back to School event and have him put a detail of soldiers together to help on the day of.
Buy notebooks for the kids giftbags
Write articles for the newsletter
Sign the kids up for school-- need medical records again!!! Birth certificates and SS Cards
Call school to make appt with counselor to discuss a Plan of Action for Bridger
Find the kids a doctor and make them an appt for physicals
Make an Eye appt for all 3 of us
Make a dental appt for all 3 of us
Make a Dr appt for myself!!!!!!
And this is just the big stuff- forget all the little nitty gritty stuff that has to be done.
don't even know why I am blogging right now! I have stuff to do!!!!!!!
