Happy St. Patricks!

Happy day, happy day. Tonight is the party---

We had 70+ degree weather all week but of course, today it might reach 50. So in anticipation of this horrible weather we are trying to turn our carport into a club. We are cover each side with tarps to keep the wind out. We bought two space heaters and we are going to have a fire in the chiminea. Then we are going to put our patio furniture on it along with some friend's furniture and the Karoke machine. It should be way fun.

Last night we played Texas Hold 'em Poker- May I say I rocked and I WON---- I am $30 bucks richer.

To Do List

So, we have about 6 weeks left here in Virginia until we pack up and move again and we have so much more we need to accomplish before we leave. I have come up with my To Do List to make sure it all happens.

We have been having some great weather and the whole family now has bikes- so have taken advantage of it and been on several rides together. Last night we rode on the golf course- a big no no. And before that we went to the Petersburg battlefield and rode around there. It is very nice and enjoyable.

The kids have building forts in this group of trees (the forest) right by our home and they have done some pretty neat things. I need to get out there and take some pictures! And if I ever needed a fort/shelter built for me, Jadyn is the one to do it. She has made a roof on hers and even covered it with pine needles. It is very impressive. Keep the kids busy for hours out there with their shovels and rakes.

I bought a chimanea this last weekend for the party we having this coming up weekend. The weather is supposed to be fairly nice, but not the 70+ degrees we are experiencing now. We have been breaking it in the last 2 days and the kids LOVE it. It is kinda nice to sit outside on a cool night and fire it up.

Not too much blogging

I haven't been blogging much lately because I have my hands in too many things right now and hopefully I will be able to get some pics up as to what I have been up too in the next week or two. But it is safe to say that I won't be bored anytime soon.

There is one thing I have been meaning to mention. There is this great show on the Food Network that I totally love. Have you seen it? The baker's name is Duff and his shop is based out of Baltimore, MD.

I have told Keith he needs to stop by there and at least buy me a cupcake- but I don't think it is going to happen. Here are some of his awesome cakes.
