Why I am a mess....creative mess that is

I might suffer ADHD......
I get so many thing going at once that I almost can't do anything because my head is swirling with new projects that I want to do to.
I did get a lot of things done before Keith came home, but now that he is gone-- I have loads more. I have curtains to hang in our bedroom FINALLY. I have been given the go-ahead on purchasing our new duvet cover, quilt and shams that are going to make our room AWESOME-- yet, I have not ordered them yet. I have too many other things I need to do first! Curtains and rods have been sitting here for 3-4 days now and I have not attempted to hang them as of yet--- I rather work on pillows instead!=)

Or no...look at what I have going here instead of pillows
I bought one of these

And some of this

In every color imaginable--- for another project that I have in my head that I have to get out!!! Another project to be knee-deep in.
I think there might be medication for people like me.

But a couple of things that I did get done.
Hanging some frames in the bedroom

One one either side of the bed
and even a couple on another wall

seeing these pictures makes me think I should be ordering the duvet and shams today!

And I also made these for the toilet room--- Something to look at while your on the pot.

Just some canvas, paint, scrapbook paper and decopauge and it all came together rather quickly.

and check out this frame that I made--- quite different then the other ones I have made previously so hopefully I am not chased by hungry lawyers again.

oh...and notice the baskets??? I am a SUCKER for a basket. I have more than the average person and when I saw these wire ones I knew I had to have them! I also got a couple of them in Mexico. Though I would not use them as home decor, they will be great for trips. The man who sold them to me got quite frustrated as I tried to get him to lower his price substantially. He claimed it took his wife 4 days to make the larger basket and 2 days to make the smaller one...whatever...I just wanted them for Mexican prices.

This is the big one

Pillows

I think I mentioned before that I was having a creative explosion for a few days and this is the results of one of my ideas. I have noticed very graphic pillows in just about every catalog and store and for HUGE money too ($50+ range). So my thought was to combine my vinyl graphics with fabric and see what I come up with. Well, the results are AWESOME and I just LOVE it! I am going to specialize in last name customization and see what happens.

These are the first two designs I did and Ali put them onto some shams she had laying around her house and brought over so I could see the results. I was pretty happy with them.

The one with the M on it is her last name custom pillow.

But I don't particularly care for those shams...I don't think they would match every home's personality. So this is where the canvas pillow comes in. I whipped out the sewing maching and got to work and this is definitely the route we are going.

Aren't they super cool?
I already set up shop too!

I'm back and ....

I didn't miss this blog at all. I usually do think about it quite a bit when I go away for a while, but didn't do much of that this time around. It wasn't like I was incredibly busy, I just have other things on my mind! I finally got a flow of inspiration concerning some projects I wanted to work on and when that happens, I am estatic. I was in a lull for a while.

Anyhow, Keith has taken off once again and we have about 4 months (God willing) until he returns home again. The visit was great but we are both eager to just get this over with, so left on Tuesday without much mayhem. He set up goals for the kids on his last night of things he would like to see changed. Bridger is super motivated and has been working super hard. Jadyn....not so much. The payoff for accomplishing them is huge, so we will see what happens.

I haven't worked too much in the last 2 weeks but right before Keith got home I had a chance to work on a client's home. It was great fun and I loved her paint colors so much I came home and repainted a few walls in my house to match. It was awesome!

I made this little number for her living room and its the chocolate brown that I copied. It looks awesome.

She still needs to hang curtains so we put the saying pretty high up on her wall. It is done in the cream and gold. Super Cute!

We also put up a monogram above her daughter's bed.

There was talk of putting an empty frame around it because that was the size I made it so it would fit---but I know when I left the final decision hadn't been made yet. Either way, it was going to be cute.

Then this number was made for her son's room. The canvas that was taken out of the frame was painted green and then I attached the vinyl directly onto it-- so when they move it can go with them. It is just as easy to attach to canvas as it is to the wall.

I was trying to dress up my bathroom with vinyl before Keith got home and I made this damask pattern to put on the shower door. It is almost impossible to get a good picture with my lame camera, but I attempted. I think it looks cool.

And the best part....these flowers Keith got for me at Sam's Club!! haha

They were super pretty and just about my favorite color when it comes to roses
