Serious Blog Neglect

I have been thinking about this blog quite a bit while I was away. Mainly how I should be posting something and have not in well over 2 weeks. Dang.

So out of guilt I am here to give a quick update. No pictures at this point in time but they will come soon. I am always thinking of a good story to tell here and a lot of them get put on the back burner for other things that are happening in my life.

Update #1--- the craft show went really well...so well that I am still working on custom orders and trying to wrap it up so I can move on to other projects. I will definitely be starting Christmas season 2008 in March because I plan on doing 3 to 4 shows next year this time and will need mega inventory if I am going to compete. I learned once again what I plan on doing different next time...nothing too major but it still requires work and effort on my part.

I know I need a decent website and quick. Plan on starting that next month and for it to be live by January. I am excited about that. I am also adding some things to my line...can't wait to reveal it here!

Update #2--- Just got Jadyn signed up for her new school. Jan. 7 is her official first day at the Montessori school and we are both excited about that. I look at it as a new beginning to get on better footing for 3rd grade.

Update #3--- My parents came for Thankgiving this year and we visited all around Central Texas like a tourist. It is was non-stop fun, fun, fun. I definitely saw some places that require more investigation on my part. One is Whole Foods in Austin. That place was crazy fun. I feel like I need to start a shuttle bus down there to make sure all my friends in Killeen check it out. There is also some fun shopping in Austin and I will be checking out again soon with..........

Update #4--- Brittlyn. Yep, she is coming for a week over Christmas. Those Austin JUNQUE shops will be right up her alley and provide hours of entertainment. Can't wait!

OK, well I have to go work on some vinyl so I can make the kids tuition payments!!!!

Happy Birthday Mom

I am soooo working hard on creating my new booth for the craft show and I am realllllly having a lot of fun! I am setting it up in garage so I can tweak and improve and once I have it all down it won't be such a big deal anymore. Can't wait to post pictures here of it. It is look soooo cool!

I did get some pictures of some vinyl in my FABULOUS neighbor's house. The nice neighbor's that we adore so much even though they didn't get the REAL Mexican Train game for us to play. Haha-- I just had to say that E and L

This is vinyl that I applied right to a textured wall and it looks FAB!! Had to work a little harder to get it to attach to the wall, but it works. Jadyn just got a new bedspread in pink and brown polka dots so I made her name and monogram to match right above her door.


It is about 15 x 15 in size

Halloween Recap

I haven't posted pictures of Halloween yet because one- it wasn't that exciting and two- I just didn't get that creative this year with costumes. Last years were way better- but I will post a picture anyhow just prove we were kinda boring.



And this is about as exciting as it got


The kids went up and down Sulfur Spring collecting candy and I stayed home and gave candy out to about 5 trick-or-treaters. We were visited by this fella'


It is a pit bull that lives about 2 blocks from our house that keeps running away from home and visiting us. I always make her scrambled eggs when she comes- probably the reason she keeps running away!

Jadyn's school put on a musical program for the parents so I went to check it out. This is the only picture I got of her since my camera is not that great at taking far away pictures. Can you tell you who Jadyn is?



My first Texas craft show is this weekend so I am excited. I did work on some Christmas presents so I can take them with me for custom orders. They turned out soooooo cute.

And this one I did for myself mainly to show the Established overlay one can do also.

I did both signs black because I think it is very dramatic- but would be mega cute with other dark colors also, like navy blue, brown or burgandy. I am hoping they will be a big hit for Christmas presents, especially when everyone has everything these days!

I'll be damned!!!

This is now just getting to be strange!!! I must have done someone really wrong or I am being tested to the hilt!

This morning, I log on to the bank acct and I get a little freaked out because it is not where it should be at. So I start examining the charges and apparently someone really enjoys shopping on Amazon China (I shop the American site quite a bit, never knew a chinese one existed!) and a Sony gaming site! Money was disappearing everytime I refreshed the bank account website.

So I put in an emergency phone call to Keith. Mind you, he is road marching for 12 miles with 60 pounds on his back and then has to do a bunch of other physical things for the next 36 hours to earn his spurs-----Because he is in a Cav unit- they wear Stetson cowboy hats and spurs (if you earn them).

Anyhow, he answers his phone very quietly and says "talk fast" so I do--- there is money disappearing out of the account FAST--- get to a computer as soon as you can and CALL THE BANK to stop this nonsense. He calls me back an hour later and says my debit card is now history--- of course, it had to start and end with me---and a new one is on the way. Someone had obtained my CC number from the web and used it to their own benefit.

About a year and half ago- some stole a checkbook from my home and also abused my account. Do I have stupid written on my forehead??? Someone please tell me if I do!!!!!!
